Phoebus cliched it’s 8th straight Peninsula District Title outright Friday, after finishing the season with a win over Denbigh at Todd Stadium.
It was also the Phantoms 67th straight district win, 45th consecutive win overall and 3rd consecutive undefeated season.
Coach Jeremy Blunt’s squad will begin its journey for a historic 4th State Championship in a row.
A 4th straight championship is even more unprecedented, considering it would be there second 4-Peat since ‘08 - ’11.
Phoebus will have a bye week before their Class 4 Region A semifinal game at Darling Stadium in Hampton, Saturday, November 23rd.
